RETINOL serum

Notes:

• It can take time for your skin to get used to a retinoid. Start using Cristaux Retinol Serum Skin Repair Serum by applying it twice a week. As your skin adjusts, you can work your way up to using it nightly. If your skin gets red, dry, or flaky, you may be moving too fast. 

  Try using it less often until these side effects resolve, and then increase slowly. Once you’re comfortable with nightly use, you can consider increasing the strength.

• For those with sensitive skin, it's best to apply moisturizer before using retinol. This helps create a protective barrier and minimizes the potential for irritation. 
• If you have normal skin, you can start with retinol followed by other serums or moisturizers. This allows the retinol to penetrate the skin effectively while still reaping the benefits of additional skincare products.
• As a rule of thumb, serums must be applied to a freshly cleaned and toned face.
• Cristaux Retinol Serum Skin Repair is best used with the following products:

Morning Routine:

 

• Wash face using Jeune Mild Cleanser (for best results, leave on for at least 30 seconds).
• Optional: Wash face using Papaine Soap.
• Use any of the following Toners: Day & Night Toner / Blanc Toner / Glycolic Toner.
• Apply Cristaux Vitamin C Serum.
• Once the first serum is fully absorbed, apply Cristaux Zerum Hydra-Beauty Skin Brightening Serum.
• Optional: Apply the Eye Balm D'or for under eye puffiness and dark circles.
• Apply your choice of sunscreen: Day Cream / Moisturizing Sunscreen / Tinted Sunscreen.

Night Routine with Retinol:

• Remove makeup / cleanse face using Blanc Cleansing Pads.
• Wash face using Jeune Mild Cleanser (for best results, leave on for at least 30 seconds).
• Optional: Wash face using Papaine Soap.
• Use any of the following Toners: Day & Night Toner / Clarifying Toner / Glycolic Toner. On Retinol Nights, use Clarifying Toner.
• Apply Cristaux Zerum Hydra-Beauty Skin Brightening Serum.
• Retinol Nights: Once the first serum is fully absorbed, apply pea sized amount of Cristaux Retinol Serum. This serum must only be used for 1 to 2x a week as your skin slowly builds tolerance for Retinol. Once your skin is well adjusted, you can use it every other night.
• Alternate Nights (No Retinol): Apply Night Cream 1.
• Optional: Apply the Eye Balm D'or for under eye puffiness and dark circles.
• Proceed with Night Cream 2 to moisturize skin, and then Night Cream 3 for anti-aging benefits.
